Atlas Industrial Outsourcing is a founder-led industrial staffing and workforce solutions company, owned by Brandyn Ulmer and founded in 2017. We provide trained, safety-focused technicians for industrial cleaning and environmental service contractors and the facilities they support—helping customers scale for projects, shutdowns, and turnarounds without sacrificing safety or professionalism.

 

Service lines include project staffing, temp-to-perm pipelines through our Conversion Tech Program, Certified Safety Attendants, emergency response/contingency staffing, and field leadership support. We serve industrial cleaning/environmental services, petrochemical/refining/chemical, power & utilities, terminals/bulk handling, marine/shipyard, and general manufacturing. We specialize in recruiting, vetting, onboarding, and deploying technicians for industrial cleaning, environmental, and heavy-industry environments, then maintaining performance through structured training, credential governance, and field leadership accountability.

 

Our strength is turning workforce volatility into consistency: scalable staffing for projects, shutdowns, and turnarounds; temp-to-perm evaluation through the Conversion Tech Program; and safety-critical support roles like Certified Safety Attendants. We also provide internal training for key credentials including OSHA 10/30, MSHA, NCCER, HAZWOPER 40, Confined Space Entrant/Attendant, WJTA, and other jobsite-required qualifications—reducing onboarding friction and protecting customer standards from day one.

Technology Integration

Atlas leverages a practical tech stack built for speed, compliance, and field execution. We use Paylocity as our core HRIS to manage employee records, onboarding workflows, payroll, HR documentation, and (as enabled) recruiting/ATS, time & labor, benefits, and learning. For internal coordination and project execution, we use Trello for task management, communication, and asset/workflow tracking.

 

We also maintain proprietary systems that support operations, safety, and training—standardizing mobilization readiness, field reporting discipline, credential governance, and coaching. Our training ecosystem includes an LMS/internal training platform and the ability to train internally. We support sales conversion with Calendly and customer outreach with tools like Mailchimp and Eventbrite as needed, and we manage accounting/reporting through QuickBooks Online and KPI dashboards.
